1. Business Overview

Meat Online is a home delivery meat service powered by Zingeli & Co., created to provide households, families, braai lovers, fitness-focused customers, events, and bulk buyers with convenient access to quality meat products.

Our service is designed around structured ordering, reliable communication, responsible product handling, and scheduled delivery. By placing an order with Meat Online, the customer confirms that they understand and accept the terms, conditions, ordering process, and delivery structure set out below.

SECTION A: CUSTOMER TERMS & CONDITIONS

2. Product Offering

Meat Online supplies a range of meat products, including but not limited to:

Beef products
Chicken products
Lamb products
Pork products, where available
Braai boxes
Family value boxes
Protein meat boxes
Customised meat box orders
Bulk meat orders
Events and catering meat packages

Products may be supplied according to availability, seasonal pricing, stock levels, supplier conditions, and operational capacity.

All product images, package examples, and marketing material are for presentation purposes only. Actual product size, cut, weight, trim, and appearance may vary depending on product type and availability.

3. Product Availability

All orders are subject to stock availability.

Where a product is unavailable, Meat Online may offer a suitable replacement or alternative product of similar value or category. The customer will be informed before any substitution is made.

If a suitable replacement is not available, the customer may choose to remove that item from the order, adjust the order value, or receive a refund or credit where applicable.

4. Pricing

All prices are subject to change due to market conditions, supplier pricing, product availability, seasonal demand, and operational costs.

Prices will be confirmed at the time of order confirmation.

A quotation or price list does not guarantee product availability unless the order has been confirmed and payment has been received where required.

Meat Online reserves the right to correct pricing errors before confirming an order.

5. Orders

Orders may be placed through the approved Meat Online ordering channels, including WhatsApp, telephone, email, website, or any official order form made available by Zingeli & Co.

An order is only considered accepted once Meat Online has confirmed the order details, product availability, price, delivery area, delivery date, and payment requirement.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that order details are correct before payment and delivery scheduling.

This includes:

Customer name
Contact number
Delivery address
Package or product selection
Quantity required
Preferred delivery date
Special preparation requests
Payment confirmation

6. Customised Orders

Customised meat box orders are prepared according to customer requests and product availability.

Customers may request specific product combinations, quantities, or package preferences.

Customised orders may require additional preparation time.

Once a customised order has been confirmed and prepared, it may not be cancelled unless Meat Online agrees to the cancellation before preparation has started.

7. Minimum Order Value

A minimum order value may apply depending on the delivery area, package type, and operational schedule.

Meat Online reserves the right to amend minimum order values from time to time.

Where a customer’s order falls below the minimum order value, the customer may be required to collect, increase the order value, or pay an additional delivery charge.

8. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be confirmed before an order is processed.

Meat Online may require full payment before preparation and delivery.

Accepted payment methods may include:

EFT
Card payment, where available
Payment link, where available
Cash on delivery, only if approved in advance

Proof of payment may be required before an order is scheduled.

Orders will not be released for delivery unless payment has been received or approved payment arrangements are in place.

9. Delivery Areas

Meat Online delivers to selected areas only.

Delivery areas may include North Riding, Olivedale, nearby estates, complexes, suburbs, and surrounding areas as communicated by Meat Online.

Delivery outside standard areas may be considered on request and may attract an additional delivery fee.

10. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees may apply based on distance, order value, delivery area, fuel costs, route planning, and delivery schedule.

Free delivery may be offered for certain packages, promotions, or minimum order values.

Delivery fees will be communicated before order confirmation.

11. Delivery Scheduling

Deliveries are scheduled based on route planning, order volumes, operational capacity, and product preparation timelines.

Customers will be given an estimated delivery date or delivery window.

Meat Online will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the agreed delivery window; however, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, route changes, operational demands, supplier delays, or circumstances beyond our control.

Customers must ensure that someone is available to receive the order at the confirmed delivery address.

12. Failed Deliveries

If the customer is not available to receive the order at the agreed delivery address and time, the delivery may be considered failed.

In the event of a failed delivery, Meat Online may charge an additional delivery fee for redelivery.

Due to the perishable nature of meat products, orders cannot be left unattended unless the customer gives written instruction and accepts full responsibility for the product after delivery.

13. Receiving Orders

Customers must inspect their order upon delivery.

Any issues relating to missing items, incorrect items, damaged packaging, or product concerns must be reported immediately upon receiving the order or within a reasonable time after delivery.

Once the order has been accepted and signed for, Meat Online may not be responsible for issues caused by improper storage, delayed refrigeration, customer handling, or failure to maintain cold chain after delivery.

14. Cold Chain and Storage

Meat products must be refrigerated or frozen immediately upon receipt.

Customers are responsible for proper storage after delivery.

Recommended storage guidance:

Keep chilled meat refrigerated immediately.
Freeze products that will not be consumed within the recommended period.
Do not leave meat products at room temperature.
Do not refreeze products that have been fully thawed unless safe handling standards have been followed.

Meat Online is not responsible for product deterioration caused by incorrect storage or handling after delivery.

15. Returns, Refunds and Replacements

Due to the perishable nature of meat products, returns are only accepted where there is a valid product quality issue, incorrect item, damaged packaging, or order fulfilment error.

Customers must report any concern as soon as possible and provide:

Order number or customer name
Photos of the product and packaging
Description of the issue
Delivery date and time

Where the issue is verified, Meat Online may offer a replacement, credit, refund, or suitable resolution at its discretion and in line with applicable consumer protection requirements.

Products that have been opened, improperly stored, cooked, consumed, or handled incorrectly may not qualify for a refund or replacement.

16. Cancellations

Standard orders may be cancelled before preparation has started.

Customised orders, bulk orders, prepared orders, or special orders may not be cancelled once preparation has started or products have been sourced specifically for the customer.

If cancellation is accepted, any refund or credit will be processed according to the payment method and internal process of Meat Online.

17. Promotions and Special Offers

Promotions are valid for the period stated in the marketing material.

Promotional offers are subject to stock availability and may be limited to certain areas, order values, packages, or delivery dates.

Meat Online reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw promotions where necessary.

18. Customer Information and Privacy

Customers may be required to provide personal information such as name, phone number, delivery address, email address, and payment confirmation details.

This information is collected for order processing, delivery communication, customer service, invoicing, and business administration.

Meat Online will take reasonable steps to protect customer information and will not intentionally share customer information with unauthorised third parties.

Customer information may be used for marketing communication only where legally permitted or where the customer has agreed to receive such communication.

Customers may request to be removed from marketing communication lists.

19. Limitation of Liability

Meat Online will take reasonable care in preparing, handling, and delivering products.

However, Meat Online will not be liable for losses, damages, spoilage, or claims caused by:
